Siam - Paragon in Evanston

I picked this place totally off the location, never went there before nor knew anyone that had eaten here. I like and eat Thai cuisine often a can be a tough judge. The food here is here is really great! The appetizers we’re fresh and crisp, their sauces just right. The entrees were all great, especially the red curry which had a rich and flavorful gravy, lots of chicken and came with rose without an extra charge. I thought the food was excellent and a great value. They’re working hard over there during this crisis and and deserve a 5 star rating.

Had one of the Pad Thai dishes. It was decent and cheap.

This place is my favorite. I eat in plenty of restaurants but here I keep coming back again and again. The crew is very cordial and the cuisine they offer is so tasty. I would always prefer to have a good meal in this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Interesting name. Same as Bangkok’s flashiest swankiest mall. Fine food. I stick to the Thai specialties. But sushi is good too. Friendly service. Decent parking nearby.

Thickest red curry I ever had, almost like a gravy, but enjoyed and had no trouble finishing it. Quick service and peaceful atmosphere. Would recommend if in the area.

Good selection of different types of sushi. Not overly thrilled with the vegetarian Thai entrees that we had. Randomly found sweet potatoes in my Green curry and cherry tomatoes in my drunken noodles. Not the best Thai in town, but definitely not the worst.

Everything is good at Siam Paragon and my kids like their kid meals/bento boxes like the Pluto box. A fav

Siam Paragon is OK. They serve what Americans have come to expect of a Thai restaurant, and they do a decent job of that. The "twist" is that they also serve sushi, but I didn't try that side of their menu. This is a neighborhood place for me so I'll probably be back. However it will only be when I have a taste for "generic Thai".

Reasonable prices and very good food, nice variety, decent atmosphere… And a full bar… Whoever writes negative comments about this place is likely one of those fools that just likes to play food critic without any type of experience nor do they have any taste… It’s a very good food at a reasonable price… The service is fine, no it’s not a five-star restaurant… So maybe that’s why those people who criticize it are being idiots. Ignore them and just try it.

Just was there to have a meal by myself and asked to sit outside seeing that there where 2 empty tables. They told me the tables have not been cleaned since some clients had just left. I said I would wait since my car is parked outside and the meter has a 20 minute limit, the waiter made a face like I asked him to drive me to Texas. He also indicated that meals would take over 25 minutes to make(like he knew what I was going to order). Myself Understanding he didn't want me to waist the 2 chair table, I said goodbye. I understand and would never ask to sit at a 4 chair table but a 2 chair? Wow talk about money hungry. But that's probably the way the manager(s) want it. Will never go again and my story will come up at every restaurant subject when it comes to Evanston Restu. Disrespect,Zero Customer Service and judgemental.

Ir tour are coming to Evanston, Illinois you must make a stop on this restaurant, they serve the best Asian food around here. And some days the have an “All you can eat” option, highly recommended. Service is excellent and food extraordinary.

Food was good, place temperature wise was cold.

Ok- The waitress on staff is extremely cordial and serves fast. The waiter there was very rude to me after I informed he put in the wrong order. Management rectified it kindly and quickly, but I don't think I'll be eating there anymore. The food is good, so I'm upset about my experiences being spoiled like this.

Good food, quick delivery, nice staff on the phone. However the food wasn't that flavorful and there were a lot more vegetables than what I am used to. Overall not awful and not at all spicy (I ordered mild)

I’m not sure what everyone is talking about. We ordered and picked up our food. It was the worst food ever!! The crab Rangoon was burnt on the outside and the crab Rangoon was cold on the inside. The shrimp tempura was too hard to even bite into. The zucchini was cold. The Mongolian dish with tofu had no sauce and no taste. Everything was dry and over cooked and had no taste at all. Absolutely disappointed and a total waste of $40.

Ordered Uber Eats, got charged, then ended up with one missing order. When I called the answer was "mistake happens" and I got hang up. Had to call Uber to straight out the mess: certainly not what we hoped for a quick lunch. Perhaps the dine-in experience is different?

Best Thai restaurant in town!!! Always delicious food. Wonderful service and relaxing atmosphere. Great spot for any occasion!

It's my first time ordering takeout at this restaurant and I mus say it is full of flavor!

Not sure if they’re under new management or have new cooks or what. Used to be really good. Ordered on ubereats and the food had absolutely not a drop of flavor or seasoning. I literally wanted to cry eating it. The sesame chicken was sitting in a pool of liquid and the “sauce” tasted like water. Crab Rangoon had not an atom of crab. Straight cream cheese.

My family comes here all the time. The owner recognizes our faces now and there's one waiter who also knows us. He can usually predict our orders! Haha

This place is my preferable restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to that place. when I feel like having a delicious lunchon, this restaurant comes right away to my head. very good and diverse food and a large menu.courteous team, and good ambience. Also, the tariff is honest. I suggest this restaurant with pleasure.

I miss this place so much. My wife and I used to live around the corner and would order food from here a couple times a week. Such a great spot with good food. We moved away and talk about it all the time.

Siam Paragon is my go-to place for sushi. They have a great selection of sushi as well as other pan-Asian dishes. I have never had a less than stellar experience here and they have great deals during the week.

They serve large portions and for fair prices. very welcoming staff. Never disappointing.

The most consistently fresh and delicious sushi I've found on the north side of Chicago. The mix of Thai and Japanese is fantastic. I have never been disappointed, the food is all fresh and prepared perfectly to go. My favorite sushi AND Thai place.

Sushi is mediocre. In the past they have messed up my order and provided poor customer service. The final straw was when I ordered four rolls for dinner. The rolls were super small and there were only 5 per type. Unacceptable, totally not worth it.

Excellent food and great service. Very pleasant employees that you feel very welcome.

One of the best low key sushi places in Evanston. The prices are right and the food is fresh.

My favorite oriental restaurant. We always add the sushi special choices when we order Chinese entree's, just to mix things up.

We had really amazing lunch with a really good price deals. Like BOGO sushi rolls and $10 lunch specials. The food itself was really delicious. The sushimi is very high quality and for the price can not be beaten. I would highly recommend the Orange sauce stir fry with Chicken. It’s a simple dish that gives you a very filling and delicious meal.

Very elegant and convenient spot. They provide big meals and for affordable rates. I loved the meals a lot and the staff members were very personal and informative. I recommend this place.

I celebrated my nomination this evening in this gorgeous place. happy to tell that we passed a pleasant evening and the place was no doubt the reason for this fruitful celebration. The stuff cooperated in a sweet manner, the food was great and my friends were extremely cheerful. We shall absolutely visit again for more events. Thank you very much.

I love Siam Paragon. My family and I come here all the time for sushi. It's always delicious, my mom loves the drinks the server Jay makes. It's a great place to come with family, or even by yourself or on a date. The owners are a very kind family.

Small and Chic place. I had the lunch combo, Chicken Pad Thai. It came with, seaweed soup, small salad and crab Rangoon. Everything was delicious. Cost was $11. Great service!!

I can write a book about this place. My family and I have been going for about ten years now. The family that owns the place is there most days. Great value, on Sunday and Monday you can enjoy the all you can eat sushi and the rest of the week the buy one get one free rolls. Drinks and food are a consistent delicious. My all time favorite is the salmon lover's platter if I am not having the all you can eat menu. Orange blossom, Sweet home Alabama and King Kong rolls are lip smacking good and wash it all down with a Sapporo beer.

If you haven't been here you NEED to go. The food is warm and delicious, and workers are polite also they have unbeatable prices. This place should have way more popularity/recognition

I love sushi, and food here. You will love all kinds of sushi. Also the food is great. It is not super cheap, but affordable and compare to quality, it is great. The only reason that this place does not deserve a 5-star review is angry water/waitresses. They are usually slow, and they are helpful.

Efficient service whether dining in or delivery. Food is consistently good. Lots of variety. I might starve if this place goes out of business.

The sushi here is delicious, and all-you-can-eat on Mondays, 2 for 1 Tuesday - Thursday. Solid service. The other food is good, too ...I just love the sushi so much.

Not sure how this place has any reviews less than 4 stars. It's great and superior to most other Thai/Pan-Asian restaurants in the immediate area. Great curry, fried rice, and makimono. I've eaten here many times and have ordered take many time and never had a problem. The staff is always friendly too.

One of my all-time go to restaurants in Evanston. They have a very large menu with a large variety of food from several Asian cultures. The only downside to this approach is that they are essentially a jack of all trades and master of none. Everything is well prepared and doesn't disappoint, but there are restaurants that do a better job with specific dishes. Their lunch specials absolutely cannot be beaten considering the value for your dollar.
